gwaunquest I'm still in limbo but, whether I stay here or go I have to re decorate the hall and, as long as we are still here, try to make some sort of mitigation against Ems falling down stairs. If I can't stop the fall then I need to at least try to stop the knocks and bangs.
I have to strip the carpet etc from the stairs, clean down the treads and paint them and then apply non slip strips. This will do nothing if he has a fit on the stairs but it will help his balance issues ect. I have bought a big ish foam cushion for the bottom of the stairs and will probably add padding elsewhere as necessary.
Not that any of this makes a big difference but at least it feels like I'm taking precautions.
I now have to make an expedition into the shed to find the decorating gear.
